Editorial Development of the publication Weathering, research conducted by Architects Office.

Architects Office has developed a unique editorial publication, bringing together chapters that delve into the investigations carried out throughout the design process of the Monolyt architectural project. The residential building on Estaleiro Beach, in Santa Catarina, was a finalist in 2024 for the largest global architecture award: the World Architecture Festival.

The Monolyt project arises from the mimesis and poetics of the erosion process, intertwining natural elements and human presence. The phenomenon instigates the processual thinking behind the architectural volumes, integrating the built and the pre-existing – and realizing a proposal that respects scales, experiences, and the local context, proposing a positive legacy for the region.
